Meet Merry
C-IAYT, E-RYT500, YACEP, LVN
Merry has been practicing yoga since she arrived in California in 2003. It was a way for her to stretch during her marathon running years. It turned into a lot more as her appreciation for yogic practices and philosophy grew. Merry is a IAYT 1000hr certified yoga therapist, RYT500hr teacher through Yoga Alliance, light and sound healer, along with other certifications that support clients in all things that have to do with yoga. Her passion and knowledge of the practice has allowed her to assist teaching other yoga teachers in training. "It is an incredible honor to study and share yoga. I don't think we can even fully grasp the immense opportunities for healing through the power of yoga, which is really exciting."
Prior to yoga, she worked as a nurse. She still helps with private home health care needs, but she devotes most of her time to Yoga Therapy and healing sessions.
Merry is a Direct Divine Light Healer, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Metaphysician, & Sound Healer. She offers a healing and compassionate space for her students and clients to take a break from being themselves, and explore the connection of mind, body, and spirit. You will feel her nurturing, healing energy as soon as you step into the room.
When Merry is not working, she enjoys spending time leading and attending kirtan, traveling, spending time in nature, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors. Merry is a lifelong student, and attends as many training and retreats as she can fit in.
